Missions

Support of foreign and local missions has been a major tradition of Feather Sound Church. We have a vibrant, active committee of volunteers who stay in close contact with our supported missionaries. They keep the congregation informed of our missionaries' needs.

  • Serving meals/Sharing personal testimony at Suncoast Haven of Rest Rescue Mission

  • Preparing food baskets at Good Samaritan Mission

  • Singing and visiting with the elderly at area nursing homes

  • Work days at the Pregnancy Center of Pinellas County

These plus many other opportunities are scheduled throughout the year. Please contact the church office at 573-3544 or by e-mail if you would like to volunteer.

We provide ample opportunity for our members to become involved through Mission Doers, a group of people who make their local community their mission field. This group is headed by Joe Narvaez and Scott Curtis and touches many different areas.

Upcoming Mission Opportunities

Prison Ministry: Until the end of February, Mission Doers will be collecting USED Christian reading materials for local prisioners. For example, Bibles, tracts, devotionals, etc.
